Itinerary
Pick-up from your hotel in Cairo in the company of your Egyptologist guide and the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle. First start by visiting the famous monasteries of Wadi El-Natron (" Deir al-Baramus", "Anba Bishoy", "Deir al-Baramus" and "Deir el Suryan") at Wadi El Natrun. Stop for lunch at a quality local restaurant before proceeding to Alexandria for check-in the hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure.

After breakfast, start your exploration of this historic coastal city founded in 312 B.C by Alexander the Great and the nation’s capital for a nearly a millennium. Begin the day with a visit to the Roman Amphitheater theatre in Kom El-Deka; It is the only Roman Theater in Egypt and one of its kind. Drive to Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa; the necropolis of 3 sub-levels dating from the 2nd century AD and visible evidence of three cultures, three arts of Roman, Greek and Egyptian and three religions superimposed upon Egyptian.
Then visit Pompey's Pillar, It was constructed in honour of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Following lunch at a seafood restaurant, your guide will take you on a tour of the Library of Alexandria and Qaitbay Citadel, built upon the ruins of the ancient Alexandria Lighthouse, one of the ancient world wonders. End this day of discovery by seeing the royal gardens of Montazah Palace, then drive back to Cairo, and your hotel.
